Internationale concurrentie-index, een ranglijst van meest concurrerende economieën, een jaarlijks door het World Economic Forum (WEF) berekende index, die de concurrentiepositie van ruim 130 economieën (landen) meet, een concurrentie-index. De index kijkt naar zaken als veiligheid, gezondheid, efficiëntie van de overheid, infrastructuur, belastingklimaat, onderwijs, enzovoort.
De index komt tot stand op basis van 3 subindices, te weten: A. Basic requirements (basiseisen), B. Efficiency enhancers (factoren die de efficiëntie van een economie doen toenemen) en C. Innovation and sophistication factors (factoren die de innovativiteit en geavanceerdheid van een economie bepalen). In totaal worden meer dan 100 variabelen meegewogen.

4th pillar: Health and primary education
- Subindex B: Efficiency enhancers
5th pillar: Higher education and training

9th pillar: Technological readiness
10th pillar: Market size
- Subindex C: Innovation and sophistication factors
11th pillar: Business sophistication
12th pillar: Innovation
In het rapport over 2019 staan Singapore, de Verenigde Staten en Hong Kong op plaats 1 t/m 3. Nederland staat op een 4e plaats, België op de 22ste plaats.
